The overview is doing on the left, reading on the right. The rail holds the things you start from this page, in the order you put them in. Beside it sits the widget dashboard and its date range.

What is in the rail
Four sections, and you choose which of them you keep.
- Start something lists the quick actions, each with its letter on the right.
- Needs you counts the work that is waiting on a person: enquiries waiting on a reply, contracts out for signature, overdue invoices, run sheets due, questionnaires unanswered. A count of zero is not a job, so those rows are not there at all. Nothing waiting reads "Nothing needs you right now."
- Jump to is the places you work, with the pipeline count and unread email count carried on the rows that have one.
- Your team is everyone holding a membership here, with their role underneath.
Owners get a fifth, Getting set up, pinned above the rest until the setup checklist is finished. It is not a preference and cannot be moved. See Getting started.
Quick actions
A quick action row does not drop you on a page, it starts the job. Send a quote opens the enquiries board with the quote composer already up, because the row carries a ?start= parameter the page acts on. The page strips it as it opens the dialog, so a refresh never reopens what you have closed.
Five actions are in the rail out of the box: Draft an email, Log an enquiry, Add a contact, Create a booking and Send a quote. The rest of the catalogue still answers to its letter anywhere on this page, whether or not the row is on show. The full list is in Search and shortcuts.
Arranging the rail
- 01Press Edit at the top of the rail, beside the organisation name.
- 02
Use the arrows on a section heading to move it, or the cross to take it out. Nothing is lost: a removed section goes back to the library.
- 03Press the plus to open Rail sections and tick anything you want back.
- 04
Press Done. The order saves as you go, against your membership, so it is yours and not the organisation's.
The same Edit drives the widgets on the right, which is where Add widget appears. Two edit modes on one page would be one too many.
When the report is missing
The dashboard needs the View analytics and reports permission. Without it the right hand side is a single card with links to packages, enquiries and bookings instead, and the rail is unchanged. See Team and roles.
